 Leah Draws is a BAFTA and BIFA nominated and Broadcast Digital Award winning producer with a plethora of experience in both long form and short form comedy.

 

She has collaborated with directors like Lucy Forbes and Freddie Waters and worked with talent such as Jamie Demetriou, Jordan Gray, Ryan Sampson, Siobhán McSweeney and more.  She founded production company, Runt Films who's first production, comedy-horror, Meat Puppet starring BAFTA winner David Jonsson (Rye Lane, Industry) and Máiréad Tyers (Extraordinary) premiered at SXSW and has since picked up a plethora of awards.  

 

Her BBC Comedy series, Funboys, recently aired on BBC Three to much commercial and critical success. With The Guardian citing it as ‘some of the most fearless comedy in years’. 

 

She is currently producing Rob Copelands sketch show for Channel4 and working on her own development slate across radio, TV and film.

Leah was one of three producers selected as for BBC's Comedy Collective bursary in 2024.
